Weekend in Warsaw - OWF 2015, Korea Festival.

It's probably a good time to write something about the Orange Warsaw Festival. Correct me if I'm wrong.

To chyba odpowiedni moment na napisanie czegoś odnośnie Orange Warsaw Festival. Poprawcie mnie, jeżeli się mylę.

I went to Warsaw in the morning on June 12. It's a funny story, because I woke up at 5:30 and went to the train completely not alive, because for a whole week, day by day I had exams. And on Thursday, just at the end I was writing the English exam until 9pm. I was surprised that I didn't fall asleep on the train, didn't skip my station, and that in general I got up.

Do Warszawy pojechałam 12. czerwca rano. To śmieszna historia, gdyż wstałam o 5:30 i udałam się na dworzec zupełnie nie żywa, gdyż przez cały tydzień, dzień w dzień miałam egzaminy. A w czwartek tak na zakończenie pisałam angielski do 21:00. Sama się sobie dziwię, że nie zasnęłam w pociągu, nie ominęłam swojej stacji, i że w ogóle wstałam.

On the spot my uncle picked me up and took to his house Around 16:00 I went to the festival place.

As you know, I got a ticket for my birthday from my classmates for the first day of festival, because Three Days Grace arrived, and I could not afford to not see them.

Consequently I was standing near the stage waiting for them, listening to earlier artists (Mela Koteluk, Afromental). And they arrived.

Na miejscu odebrał mnie wujek i zabrał do siebie. Około 16:00 pojechałam na miejsce festiwalu.

Jak wiecie, dostałam od klasy na urodziny bilet na pierwszy dzień, gdyż występowało Three Days Grace, a ja nie mogłam sobie pozwolić na nie zobaczenie ich.

W związku z tym sterczałam pod sceną czekając na ich przybycie, słuchając wcześniejszych artystów (Mela Koteluk, Afromental). I się doczekałam.

That looked like one of the three scene during a concert of Papa Roach. I didn't stay in it any longer, cause my concert was over, so I left. Tent however, still was full, and outsidethe storm began. But before this, let's return to the concert.

The atmosphere was great, except that places also aggressive. I'm surprised because I came out of it all alive, even without a scratch. And staying near the stage is dangerous.

Matt and his band (if I remember correctly, on what I would have rather not expect) performed I am Machine, The Good Life, Break, Home, Fallen Angel, Human Race, Never too late, Animal I Have Become, Riot, Pain, I hate everything about you, Painkiller, So What. The audience was singing every song with the singer, whether it came from the new album, or may have been created by Adam. And was screaming unanimously THREE-DAYS-GRACE. Something beautiful. ヾ(・ω・)メ(・ω・)ノ

Tak wyglądała jedna z trzech scen akurat podczas koncertu Papa Roach. Nie wytrzymałam już w tym ścisku, poza tym mój koncert się skończył, więc wyszłam. Namiot jednak pozostał pełny, a na zewnątrz rozpoczęła się burza. Ale zanim o tym, wróćmy do koncertu.

Atmosfera była wspaniała oprócz tego, że miejscami agresywna. Dziwię się, bo wyszłam z tego wszystkiego cało, nawet bez jednego draśnięcia. A stanie pod sceną jest niebezpieczne.

Matt wraz z zespołem (o ile dobrze pamiętam, na co bym raczej nie liczyła) wykonał I am Machine, The good life, Break, Home, Fallen Angel, Human Race, Never too late, Animal I have become, Riot, Pain, I hate everything about you, Painkiller, So what. Publiczność śpiewała każdą piosenkę wraz z wokalistą, nieważne, czy pochodziła ona z nowego albumu, czy może była tworzona jeszcze przez Adama. I jednogłośnie krzyczała THREE-DAYS-GRACE. Coś pięknego. ヾ(・ω・)メ(・ω・)ノ

At the festival, I was together with a friend, but we wanted to see different bands, so we were not together. When, however, only ended Three Days Grace concert, she called me to come to her. She was sitting on a lounger next to the smallest scene delighted as much as I by rain. Until it began to be uncomfortably wet.

I wonder how it is that three girls have to walk and open umbrellas, while adults stand and wait.

Anyway I left the festival grounds around eleven o'clock, bathed and went to sleep.

Na festiwalu byłam wraz ze znajomą, ale chciałyśmy zobaczyć inne zespoły, więc nie trzymałyśmy się razem. Kiedy jednak tylko skończył się koncert Three Days Grace, zadzwoniła do mnie, żebym do niej przyszła. Siedziała na leżaku obok najmniejszej sceny zachwycona deszczem równie mocno jak ja. Do momentu, gdy zaczęło być nieprzyjemnie mokro.

Zastanawiam się, jak to jest, że trzy dziewczyny muszą chodzić i rozkładać parasole, podczas gdy dorośli stoją i czekają.

W każdym razie miejsce festiwalu opuściłam około jedenastej, wykąpałam się i poszłam spać.

The next day, I had an appointment with a friend. And really, I invited myself to her.
We didn't have any specific plans, but it turned out that Korea Festival takes place in the Agrykola park, so after a long journey by trams, subways and streets, in the end we reached the place.
In the meantime, strawberries and cream.
Następnego dnia umówiona byłam z koleżanką. A tak naprawdę, to się do niej wprosiłam.
Nie miałyśmy jakichś konkretnych planów, ale okazało się, że akurat odbywa się Korea Festival w parku Agrykola, więc po długiej wędrówce tramwajami, metrami i uliczkami, w końcu dotarłyśmy na miejsce.
W międzyczasie truskawki ze śmietaną.

And ice cream in unicorn, unfortunately without horn, because they ran out.

I lody w jednorożcu, niestety bez rogu, bo się skończyły.

And left hook with the cosmos.

And finally the festival.

I didn't expect anything special. While I immediately pounced on the food, as soon as I saw it. What about scene with dancing Koreans, which confirmed the girls squeal, when you have in front of you stands full of food. I decided on soy noodles with meat and vegetables, and in addition I bought a few things for me to take back home.

Later we went to see what they offer on other exhibitors, but nothing attracted my interest.

Aż w końcu festiwal.

Nie spodziewałam się niczego specjalnego. Natomiast od razu rzuciłam się na jedzenie, jak tylko je zobaczyłam. Co tam scena, na której tańczyli jacyś koreańczycy, co potwierdzały piski dziewczyn, gdy ma się przed sobą stoiska pełne jedzenia. Zdecydowałam się na makaron sojowy z mięsem i warzywami, a oprócz tego kupiłam kilka rzeczy do domu.

Później poszłyśmy sprawdzić, co oferują na innych stoiskach, ale już nic nie wzbudziło mojego zainteresowania.

And so we returned tired to the apartment.

I tak wróciłyśmy zmęczone do mieszkania.

The following morning we drove to the Złote Tarasy. We went to Bath & Body Works, Marks & Spencer, have something to eat, then got into my train. And that's all of my crazy trip.

Następnego dnia przed południem pojechałyśmy do Złotych Tarasów. Wpadłyśmy do Bath & Body Works, Marks & Spencer, coś zjeść, a później wsiadłam do swojego pociągu. I to tyle z mojej szalonej wycieczki.

Actually, it was my first trip anywhere alone. Also, the first big festival. But I made sure in the belief that I absolutely don't fit to the crowds.
Tak właściwie był to mój pierwszy wyjazd gdziekolwiek samej. Także pierwszy duży festiwal. Ale upewniłam się w przekonaniu, że absolutnie nie pasuję do tłumów.
