How many times have you been in a situation when after watching a movie, series or k-drama you liked OST so much that you decided to buy the CD? Probably never. Usually simply you download (ekhm, I'm kidding, no one does it) the entire soundtrack from the Internet. But you know what, the problem begins when on the Internet you cannot find what you want.

Ile razy spotkaliście się z sytuacją, że oglądaliście jakiś film, serial, dramę i OST tak bardzo wam się spodobało, że zdecydowaliście się kupić płytę? Raczej nigdy. Zazwyczaj po prostu ściągacie (ekhm, żartuję, nikt tego nie robi) całą ścieżkę z internetu. Tylko wiecie co, problem zaczyna się, gdy w internecie nie ma tego, czego pragniecie.

After three years Jang Keun Suk finally appeared in the drama. Again, as the main character, but this time quite different from his previous role. Jang Keun Suk usually played celebrity, a well-known star, which we all loved and adored. You can know him from Pretty Boy, You're Beautiful and Marry Me, Mary! He was my first favorite Korean actor and played in my first drama I saw. I followed his solo actions and all the activities of Team H. Later, I discovered a whole bunch of other actors and a little forgot about Keun Suk.

Jackpot (The Royal Gambler and in the original 대박) reminded me of him. It's a historical drama. The first of this genre on which I decided to watch. Somehow I could never persuade myself to historical k-dramas and I avoided them. If not the main character, this one also probably would have been skipped and then I wouldn't start currently emitted drama with Park Bogum or with IU. Jackpot is a really good series. If you would like a long review, I can write it for you, though it would be best if you just watch the film production.

Jackpot presents the story of Baek Dae Gil, who from a miserable gambler grows into a man who changed the world back then. In this helps him a son of the king, because they have a common enemy they want to fight. Actually, the character of the king, which's played by Choi Min Soo is the best creation of the ruler I've ever seen. In the production there is no unnecessary drama. Romance actually also doesn't appear, so if you are interested only in that in dramas, it's not likely recommend. But there is a lot of excellent plans, strategies, games, duels and satisfying plot twists.

But there is something much more satisfying. Music.

Po trzech latach Jang Keun Suk w końcu ponownie pojawił się w dramie. Znów jako główny bohater, ale tym razem zupełnie różny od swoich poprzednich roli. Jang Keun Suk zazwyczaj grał celebrytę, dobrze znaną gwiazdę, którą wszyscy kochali i wielbili. Możecie go znać chociażby z Pretty Boy, You're Beautiful czy Marry Me, Mary! Był moim pierwszym ulubionym koreańskim aktorem i grał w  mojej pierwszej obejrzanej dramie. Śledziłam jego solowe poczynania jak i całą działalność Team H. Później odkryłam całą masę innych aktorów i trochę o Keun Suku zapomniałam.

Jackpot (The Royal Gambler a w oryginale 대박) mi o nim przypomniał. Jest to drama historyczna. Pierwsza z tego gatunku na którą się zdecydowałam. Jakoś nigdy nie mogłam się przekonać do dram historycznych i je omijałam. Gdyby nie główny bohater, tę też pewnie bym ominęła a później nie odważyła się na obecnie emitowaną dramę z Park Bogumem czy z IU. Jackpot to naprawdę dobry serial. Jeżeli chcielibyście jakąś dłuższą recenzję, mogę ją dla was napisać, choć najlepiej byłoby, gdybyście produkcję po prostu obejrzeli.

Jackpot przedstawia historię Baek Dae Gila który od marnego hazardzisty wyrasta na człowieka, który zmienia ówczesny świat. Pomaga mu w tym syn króla, gdyż mają wspólnego wroga, którego chcą zwalczyć. Tak właściwie postać króla, którą odegrał Choi Min Soo jest najlepszą kreacją władcy, jaką kiedykolwiek widziałam. W produkcji nie ma niepotrzebnych dram. Romans właściwie też się nie pojawia, więc jeżeli tylko to interesuje was w dramach, to raczej nie polecam. Jest za to mnóstwo doskonałych planów, strategii, gier, pojedynków i satysfakcjonujących zwrotów akcji.

Ale jest coś dużo bardziej satysfakcjonującego. Muzyka.

Officially released four songs sung by Park Wan Kyu, Kim Bo Hyun, Postman and Chun Dan Bi. All 18 instrumental pieces that appeared in the drama are not included even though everyone went crazy about them. Oddly enough, it's really hard to find them on the Internet. A good man shared several tracks on YouTube and among them I chose my favorite ones. Meanwhile, the entire album can be purchased on iTunes.
Oficjalnie wypuszczono cztery piosenki śpiewane przez Park Wan Kyu, Kim Bo Hyun, Postman i Chun Dan Bi. Nie uwzględniono w ogóle 18 instrumentalnych kawałków, które pojawiły się w dramie, a na punkcie których wszyscy oszaleli. Co dziwne, naprawdę trudno je znaleźć w internecie. Jakiś dobry człowiek umieścił kilka pozycji na YouTube z czego wybrałam swoje ulubione. Tymczasem całą płytę można nabyć na iTunes.

Previouslym mentioned songs rather don't get in my taste, except the presented Time Stops by Park Wan Kyu. And the theme is beautiful and always appeared at the beginning. Two other tracks evoke a specific scenes, but a special fondness I have for the To Be Daegil, because this is the main character's melody.
Wcześniej wspomniane piosenki raczej do mnie nie trafiają, oprócz zamieszczonego Time Stops Park Wan Kyu. Natomiast temat przewodni jest piękny i pojawiał się zawsze na początku. Dwa pozostałe utwory przywołują konkretne sceny, ale szczególnym sentymentem darzę To Be Daegil, bo to przecież temat głównego bohatera.

If OST doesn't convince you, and it should, I recommend you watch the drama for Keun Suk, which is really amazing in the role assigned to him. I am not writing this because once I was biased.
Jeżeli nie przekonuje was OST, a powinno, to polecam obejrzeć dramę dla Keun Suka, który jest naprawdę niesamowity w przyznanej mu roli. I nie piszę tego dlatego, że miałam kiedyś do niego słabość.
