Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

Despite the fact that this drama stars IU, somehow in the middle I started to get bored. At the same time, there was broadcasted another historical drama - Love in the Moonlight with Park Bogum. I decided that I would finish this less interesting one first and leave better one to the end. Thus, about two months ago I finished Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

Pomimo, że w tej dramie gra IU, jakoś w połowie zaczęłam się nudzić. W tym samym czasie emitowano inną dramę historyczną - Love in the Moonlight z Park Bogumem. Stwierdziłam więc, że najpierw dokończę tę mniej ciekawą, żeby lepsze zostawić na koniec. Tak oto jakieś dwa miesiące temu skończyłam Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

IU is one of my favorite Korean singers. I was not worried about she couldn't be good in acting, because I saw her earlier in Dream High, Pretty Boy and The Producers. What's more in the drama occurred a few other k-pop stars - Beakhyun, Z.Hera and Seohyun. I was worried only that the production may gain not enough popularity. If you are a bit in k-dramas you know that I didn't have to worry.
The entire production itself was so-so. It was nice looking at all the actors, all the princes and servants, but it didn't help the feeling of boredom. It could feel that the producers was forcing the amount of episodes. Do not get me wrong, all the time something was happening. It was only already quite tiring. How much can you look at lying and avoiding each other.
IU to jedna z moich ulubionych koreańskich piosenkarek. Nie martwiłam się o to, że mogłaby sobie nie poradzić z aktorstwem, bo widziałam ją już wcześniej w Dream High, Pretty Boy i The Producers. Oprócz niej, w dramie wystąpiło też kilka innych gwiazd kpopu - Beakhyun, Z.Hera czy Seohyun. Martwiłam się tylko tym, że produkcja może zyskać małą popularność. Jeżeli siedzicie trochę w k-dramach, wiecie, że nie musiałam się martwić.

Cała produkcja sama w sobie była taka sobie. Miło patrzyło się na wszystkich aktorów, wszystkich książąt i służbę, ale nie pomagało to wcale uczuciu znudzenia. Miało się wrażenie, że producenci próbują przedłużyć wszystko na siłę. Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, cały czas się coś działo. Tylko było to już męczące. Ile można patrzeć na to, jak bohaterowie kłamią i się unikają.

But all that was needed. Viewers thought that soon everything would come to the end and was waiting for the moment the main characters will get together and then there will be a happy ending... and boom, a surprise. Everyone forgot about how the whole drama started and about how is it called. MOON LOVERS. The heroine left the modern world and moved to the past. Somehow, no one specifically cares, because we didn't even have a chance to know her modern life.
Wszystko to jednak było potrzebne. Widzowie myśleli sobie, że już wkrótce nastąpi koniec, już za chwile główni bohaterowie będą razem i dostaniemy wymarzony happy end... a tu niespodzianka. Wszyscy zapomnieli o tym, jak zaczęła się cała drama i o tym, jaki nosi tytuł. MOON LOVERS. Bohaterka, która opuściła świat współczesny i przeniosła się do przeszłości. Jakoś nikogo to specjalnie nie obchodziło, bo nawet nie mieliśmy okazji przywiązać się do jej życia z racji tego, że nas w nie nie wprowadzono.

There I didn't give this drama any hope. I thought that this would be one of the worst that I've watched. And here this is the second one (the first was Zettai Kareshi) which had a sad ending. And that's really good! I was crying the whole last episode, because it was so beautiful. The end is probably the best thing that happened to this drama!
The audience began to protest and demand the second season. I hope that will never happen and I think that in fact no one will even consider production of that. It will spoil all the magic. Anyway, the end was't that sad. If you watched Cheese in the Trap, you should know the open ending which has been used there. Here something quite similar was used.
Nie dawałam tej dramie nadziei. Myślałam, że będzie to jedna z gorszych, jakie oglądałam. A tu proszę, jest drugą (pierwszą była Zettai Kareshi), która miała smutne zakończenie. I bardzo dobrze! Płakałam przez cały ostatni odcinek, bo był piękny. Zakończenie to chyba najlepsze, co było w tej dramie!

Widzowie zaczęli protestować i żądać drugiego sezonu. Mam nadzieję, że on nigdy nie powstanie i w sumie myślę, że faktycznie nikt nie będzie się brał za jego produkcję. Zepsułoby to całą magię. Zresztą zakończenie wcale nie było takie smutne. Jeżeli oglądaliście Cheese in the Trap, powinniście wiedzieć, jakie otwarte zakończenie zostało tam zastosowane. Tutaj użyto czegoś zupełnie podobnego.

Honestly, I was putting myself together two days to write anything about this drama. After this time, I wrote a brief points that I wanted to develop later. I came back to those notes just now, when I'm completely calm. Yes, bu to enter the atmosphere a little and play on my own emotions, for the first time I'll listen to the OST. There is no song that specifically stands out if you wonder. Despite this, they are able to recall the scenes in which they appeared.

Szczerze powiedziawszy, zbierałam się dwa dni, żeby napisać cokolwiek na temat tej dramy. Po tym czasie napisałam krótkie punkty, które później miałam rozwinąć. Do tych notatek wróciłam dopiero teraz, kiedy jestem już zupełnie spokojna. Ale tak, żeby trochę wejść w klimat i zagrać na swoim własnych emocjach, po raz pierwszy słucham OST. Jeżeli o to chodzi, nie ma żadnej piosenki, która specjalnie by się wyróżniała na tle innych. Mimo to, potrafią one przywołać na myśl sceny, w których się pojawiały.

Do I recommend watching Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo? Well, if you like to watch killing all of the k-pop stars and almost the entire royal family. Or if you like to torture yourself.

In the end, this is a really nice production about royalty and love. There is no special coloring for romance for the needs and expectations of today's teenagers. It presents a lot of problems that members of the royal family and the people living in the palace had to face. Yes, it's a really nice production.

Czy polecam Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo? Cóż, jeżeli lubicie jak uśmiercane są wszystkie gwiazdy k-popu i niemalże cała rodzina królewska. Albo jeżeli lubicie się torturować.

Koniec końców, jest to naprawdę ładna produkcja o władzy i miłości. Nie jest specjalnie podkolorowana na potrzeby romansu i oczekiwań współczesnych nastolatek. Przedstawia mnóstwo problemów, z którymi musieli borykać się członkowie rodziny królewskiej, jak i ludzie zamieszkujący pałac. Tak, to naprawdę ładna produkcja.

I came to the ninth position on the CD. I think it's a song which is the most characteristic and striking a nerve of a person who watched the entire Moon Lovers.
Właśnie doszłam do dziewiątej pozycji na płycie. Myślę, że jest ona tą najbardziej charakterystyczną i uderzającą w czuły punkt osoby, która obejrzała całe Moon Lovers.
